DIY hair conditioner
With the arrival of summer, hair is hit by the sun's rays 24 hours a day, becoming dry and creating knots that are difficult to manage more easily.
This is why I have chosen to offer you a convenient and economical DIY conditioner that will make your hair your best asset, in simple steps! Let's take a closer look at the ingredients we are going to use:
- Flax seed: useful for preventing and treating split ends, flaxseeds give shine and act against dryness of the hair.
- Rosemary essential oil: rosemary has fortifying properties, rebalances excess sebum, for immediately better cared for and cleaner hair.
- Sweet almond oil: it is particularly recommended for those with damaged hair, as it restores the fibres.
- Honey: thanks to its beneficial properties it makes hair softer and healthier.
- Coconut oil: top ingredient of every conditioner, with its fatty acids it acts deeply, nourishing the hair. (
constant use of this ingredient is advisable)
- Lemon drops: a few drops of lemon will make your hair healthier, like a real cure-all!
Well, now all we have to do is put everything together and give shape to our balm hair do-it-yourself!
METHOD
- Pour the flaxseeds into a pan full of water and leave them to soak for a few minutes to hydrate them;
- Boil for about 10 minutes;
- Filter the flaxseeds and set aside the gel that has formed
- Pour the flaxseed gel into a glass bowl and add the honey, coconut oil and sweet almond oil;
- Create a mix with the ingredients and mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture;
- Add the essential oils of lemon and rosemary, mix everything with the previously obtained product;
Here's the conditioner to apply immediately to your hair!
Be careful not to keep the product for too long, it could start to produce unpleasant odors and consequently it will not bring any benefit to your hair.
